Rating: 3.5/5???Gaganam the Hicjack drama is all set to hit the screens with a bang casting the handsome hero Nagarjuna, Versatile villain of the tinsel town Prakash Raj, Bharath Reddy, Brahmanandam, Ravi, Poonam kaur and Sana Khan.
Directed by Radha MOhan and produced by Dil Raju the casting has
created lot of expectations on the flick.
Surprisingly for the first time there are no masala, songs, fights and unnecessary commercial elements added to the flick in the Telugu Cinema.

Gagayam is based on Khandahar Hi Jack episode
A Terrorst group hijacks an Airplane from Chennai with 75 passengers and crew is brought to Tirupathi Airport.
A minister, a leading actor and a doctor are the VIPS among the passengers. The terrorist demand their leader Yosuf Khan to be released from the Prison. Prakash Raj Home secretary Vishwanath and National Securtiy adviser along with other top bosses also come down to Tirupathi to negotiate a deal with the terrorists. ??
National Security Guards officer Ravi (Nagarjuna) also joins the team and they initiate a talk with the terrorist and the Government agrees to release Yusuf Khan and release the passengers. Meanwhile Yousuf Khan and the security Guards gets killed in a road accident. How Ravi and his team accomplish their mission and free the passengers from the Hijackers forms the rest of the story.
The first movie in the Tollywood which is completely dependent on the script from the first frame to the last frame with no commerical elements added to the script. You will be surprised to see the romantic handsome hero who is well known for his charming appearance is acting for the first time with no heroine by his side. Gaganam is a diffrent script in many ways when compared to the regular commercial flicks that hit the screens in the past for the last 3 decades.
Director Radha Mohan has ensured to hook the audience to the movie as it progress. The filmmaker has understood the pulse of the audience and has ensured to give enough enthusiasm to watch the flick with no boring aspects in the movie. The twist, the climax and riveting pace of the second half of the movie are the best elements of the movie
Performance of the actors and actress
Sana Khan`s character has been lengthened but she has done justice to her character.
Nagarjuna as NSG Commando has a dignified look and his stellar performance adds value to the character. A good image make over in the career of Nagarjuna who has been playing Manmadhudu roles in all his earlier flicks.
Prakash RAj experience and his excellent performance as usual added value to the script
Poonam Kaur as the Air Hostess, Harsha Vardhan as the reporter, Bharath Reddy as assitant to Nag, Ravi as the Pilot, Vijay as Colonel jelled well into their characters. ??
Guhan has used Digital Red Camera and different angles has been captured giving a new look in most of the frames. A big applause to the Art Director who has erected the set of Aeroplane and the Airport in the Ramoji Film City is almost real.
Gaganam is released in TAmil as Payanam. Select and watch your version of Gaganam or Payanam which is a crave for good cinema
